Comparison Can Kill

Relationships are not all created equal. Therefore, it is foolish for us to compare our relationships with those of others. Perfect example: my best friend and I are a WHOLE lot alike, but we are not the same. Our husbands are not the same, and it would be foolish for me to try to transform my husband into hers because of how cohesive her relationship appears to be. As an individual woman, she has individual needs and her husband is suited to fit those needs. Same with me.

I'm convinced that more relationships would work out if we stop looking outside them in an effort to piece together the "perfect" man. He doesn't exist and neither does the perfect woman, but I do believe we can learn to be perfect for one another.

it is never profitable to compare ourselves to another.
Should we compare ourselves to a loser?
Why compare ourselves to someone wildly successful, someone who may have spent thirty years (in the right place,) to achieve success?
Be yourself.
Look after your friends and they will look after you.
Keep up the good work.
